BusyBoy Loses His First Tooth

March 11th, 2009 · 4 Comments

BusyBoy lost his first tooth the over the weekend.  It was so loose but he did not want us to pull it out.  He ran a slight fever and was feeling pretty lousy on Saturday and wound up laying in my bed taking a nap.  He woke up from the nap by noticing that his tooth fell out while he was sleeping.  To say he was excited would be an understatement. Even though you cannot see the missing tooth, look at that smile!

He really was thrilled that he lost his tooth.  GigglyGirl lost her first tooth almost 6 months ago so he has been patiently waiting for his to fall out.

The fever and feeling of being sick from earlier in the day went away as soon as the tooth fell out.

GigglyGirl was excited for BusyBoy as well and wanted to get in a photo too.

Finally, this one does not show the missing tooth but I loved the lighting and wanted to post it.

The tooth fairy is due at our house tonight too – only my son is 11 and has lost a bunch already. It’s always exciting for the first tooth, congrats to him.

Tanya, Evil Twin’s Wife, and Saint3,

Thanks for taking the time to comment on my blog. I can remember when I lost my first tooth and how excited I was to lose it. I was one of the last ones in my first grade (not kindergarten) class and I was ready to be like the other kids.
