Frugal Blogs I Like

January 19th, 2009 · 4 Comments

I have numerous blogs in my Google reader and I have not done an updated blogroll in some time.  Instead of listing the blogs I like in 1 post, I have decided to break it into categories.  Thanks to a question from @lilthislilthat on Twitter, I have decided to post my favorite frugality blogs today.

First and foremost is Stephanie Nelson’s website:  CouponMom.  Stephanie has probably taught me 85 – 90% of what I know about couponing and saving money from grocery stores and drugstores.  I had the privilidge of hearing her speak a couple of years ago at Roswell United Methodist Church where I learned she has a passion for helping the poor and hungry as well as saving money through coupons.  Her site is free.  She has a free ebook (or 2) to explain how to save money.  I have 3 posts that explain how I use coupons based on what I learned from Stephanie:

Other Frugality Sites I like:

  1. Dealicious Mom
  2. A Call to Higher Places
  3. Blessed Frugalness Two Times with Twins
  4. Coupon Cravings
  5. Freebies 4 Mom
  6. American Consumer News
  7. Horray for Freebates
  8. Jessica Shops (mainly Atlanta deals but also nationwide chain deals)
  9. Mommy Making Money
  10. Mommy Snacks
  11. Money Saving Mom
  12. My Penny Pile
  13. Sense to Save
  14. Forums at Slick Deals (There are so many deals listed here, you have to just skim subjects for what you are looking for.)
  15. Stretching A Buck
  16. The Grocery Cart Challenge
  17. Wise Bread
