Super BusyBoy

January 14th, 2009 · 3 Comments

A while back BusyBoy got sick to his stomach after having gone to bed. After changing his clothes and cleaning him up, we put him in our bed. He cuddled up next to me and went back to sleep in a matter of minutes.

It was still fairly early, so Mr. Right and I watched a little bit of tv. After our show went off, Mr. Right started whispering to BusyBoy. He said, “You are Super BusyBoy and you can fly through the air. You can run super fast and jump over buildings. You can lift an elephant. To keep up all that energy you have to eat 10 jars of peanut butter every day.” BusyBoy kind of had a grin on his face when Mr. Right started whispering this.

I threw in, “And 20 pounds of spinach each day.”
Mr. Right added, “And a banana.”

Then, immediately after the word banana, BusyBoy sat up and vomited. ‘

Apparently, the thought of 10 jars of peanut butter, 20 pounds of spinach, and a banana did not sit well with BusyBoy. Mr. Right probably will not be whispering about food in BusyBoy’s ear again for quite some time.

Someone twittered about this, don’t remember who but thanks for the laughter this morning. My kids looked at me and asked ‘what Mammy?’ when they heard me laugh out loud.
