Christmas Crossword Puzzle for Kids

December 14th, 2008 · No Comments

As you might imagine, living in a house with two 5 year old kids in the month of December one is constantly reminded of the fact that Christmas is coming very soon. That’s just one of the many great things about having young kids.

Our tree is up. This year the kids put on most of the ornaments, so they are mostly down low and are grouped into little ornament families. In case you didn’t know, all of the Angel ornaments need to be close together so they don’t get lonely. It’s the same with all of the Teddy Bears, Santas, etc. Silly me, all these years I’ve been spreading them out evenly around the tree. But now I’ve been set straight. ;-)

So, the primary focus of every activity being the eminent arrival of Christmas, Jesus’ Birthday Party, Santa Claus, Rudolph, toys, and presents I was once again inspired to come up with a fun, printable Christmas activity for kids. This time I’ve created a 16 clue Christmas Crossword Puzzle for kids (and adults too).

This Christmas Crossword Puzzle is simple enough that my kindergarteners can do it (although they need me to read the clues to them). But it is a fun little Christmas activity for any age group.

So if you’ve got kids click on CHRISTMAS CROSSWORD PUZZLE PDF to download a printable version of the crossword puzzle. And click on CHRISTMAS CROSSWORD SOLUTION PDF to download the answers. Take a few seconds to print out copies of the crossword puzzle for each of your kids, and give it to them to add one more special moment to this year’s Christmas celebration with your family.
