Christmas Menu Plan Monday

I officially have 1 more family member as of yesterday. Yea! My brother is married. I do not think I have ever seen him smile as much in one day as I did yesterday – at least not since he was a little kid. I am so happy for him and his bride!!!

Oh, this week is going to be a good one! I am so excited it has begun, even if it began with more of a fizzle than a bang. Mr. Right and the kids all have had a cold and a low-grade fever today. By tonight, thankfully, the kids were feeling better.

This week campaigning FINALLY ends for me for the 2008 campaign season. It has been a long cycle and I am glad it is coming to an end with our runoff elections in Georgia. Mr. Right and I have several work appointments, which is good, because we need and want the work.

I have to finish getting the house ready and decorate for Christmas. The kids are so excited to decorate they can hardly stand waiting.

I am sending my ornaments and goody package for the Siesta Ornament Exchange tomorrow. Really, I should have sent it on Friday so the person would receive it tomorrow but I slipped up.

While this is going to be a jammed, packed, busy week, most everything on my to do list is fun for me personally or fun vicariously because it will result in someone else’s happiness.

So, you probably just clicked here to see my menu plan. Here it is:

Monday: Baked Potato Soup topped with Stir Fried Beef, Pumpkin Bread

Tuesday: Salmon Patties, Homemade Biscuits, Green Beans, & Baked Apples (baked with Pottery Apple Bakers my friend Jayme made, which would make a wonderful Christmas gift for someone you know)

Wednesday: Chicken Nuggets, Potato Casserole Supreme, Corn

Thursday: Crockpot Porcupine Meatballs and Bourbon Mashed Sweet Potatoes

Friday: Homemade Pizza

Saturday: Leftovers

Sunday: Easy, Tasty Roast, Carrots, & Salad

I’ve participated in ornament exchanges before. They’re alot of fun. And it’s nice to get something else in the mail beside bills.
Congratulations on your brother’s new bride.
