Aloha! It is Friday! Yipee! Kailani at Island Life describes Aloha Friday as: “In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.”
This week my question is:
For US Folks: What are your plans for Thanksgiving?
If you are not in the US, what are your plans for this weekend?
Mr. Right and I are probably going to do Thanksgiving at our house although we have not decided or checked with other family members yet. The Saturday after Thanksgiving, my younger brother is getting married. We are excited about the edition to our family of his finance. Since we will be with my family on the weekend we are probably going to spend Thanksgiving with Mr. Right’s family.
For food, I know we will have turkey and Bourbon Mashed Sweet Potatoes but we have not decided what else to prepare.
So, what are your plans for Thanksgiving? Leave a comment and let me know.

Love the chore chart ideas btw. Great!
We’re going to my kid’s “adopted grandparents” for the day. We moved to our little burb a year ago & they adopted us. It will be very traditional but no one is allowed to help so… Guess it’s dishes for me!

I always do the dinner this year, so that won’t change, but we will be singing happy birthday this year and sticking a candle in pie. It’s my mama’s birthday!!

We will be heading to have dinner with my father’s family at my aunt’s house. She lives locally and is what we can do since hubby has to work the next day. Hubby’s family is upset that we will not be with them, but going back and forth 2-3 hours each way in one day is too much for our kids.
