It stinks when your guys loses, doesn’t it?  Yesterday that is what happened to my guy.  He lost.  As a Republican, it stinks.  As a political activist there will be lots for me to learn and to do moving forward but those are things for another time and day and really another blog altogether.

If you supported Obama, you are probably very excited today about the election results.  Enjoy it!

As an American, no matter who you supported for President, we have reason to be thankful.

We can be thankful that we will in a country where we peacefully elect our leaders.  America is greater than any one President and any one party.  We have freedoms in this country.  We have checks and balances to prevent dictators.  Our system of representative democracy worked last night and will continue to work.  We are free to worship God without fear of retribution. 

No matter who is President I am in control of my happiness and God lives in my heart. Instead of feeling sorry for myself and my values because we did not win last night, I am happy that I live in country where citizens elect the leaders and where we can worship God.
