Bloggy Giveaway – Set of 10 Handmade Christmas Cards

October 27th, 2008 · 68 Comments

Handmade Christmas Card

All ten of these Handmade Christmas Cards are made with the same Santa Claus design pictured above and are very similar to each other. But, because they are handmade cards, they each have their own unique character and slight differences that make them special and unusual.
Santa's BeardChristmas StarSanta's Bag

The outline of the picture of Santa Claus on the front of the Christmas Cards is put on using a rubber stamp. Then each element of the picture is carefully painted, colored, glued (the tiny little cotton ball on Santa’s cap), or applied by my two little hands. You can see some of the detail in the 3 photos above. Santa Claus’ beard is thick, but tiny droplets of textured paint which are 3 dimensional. The yellow star has a glossy finish on top of it which gives it a raised texture. The patterns and toys of Santa Claus’ bag are finished in delicate, minuscule detail. Stamped below Santa’s feet is the word “Joy”. Finally the front of each Homemade Christmas Holiday Card is coated with a sparkling, glossy glaze to make it shine.
Handmade Christmas Card

Measurements of the Christmas Cards are 4¼ inches wide by 5½ inches tall. The inside of each Christmas Card is blank for you to add your own message. All of the paper elements of my Handmade Christmas Cards are heavy, high-quality cardstock. Envelopes are included.

If you’re in the market to buy Christmas Cards, my unique and unusual Handmade Christmas Cards will soon be available on eBay and in my Etsy store. Check back next week for that update.
