Little List Makers

August 5th, 2008 · 2 Comments

gtd to do list

I make lists for everything. To do lists, birthday gift lists, calls to make lists, shopping lists, how to lists. You name it, I probably have a list for it. Some of my friends laugh at me because I talk about all my Excel Spreadsheet lists. Hey, it keeps me organized!

My children have caught on to the list making mania. In the past 2 weeks, they have started making lists for what they want to do when it is “their day.” If I have said that there is something I cannot do right away and maybe later, they want to put it on their list. GigglyGirl has told me that she wrote a couple of things on her list so I would not forget it.

BusyBoy asks how to spell the words or sounds them out phonetically. GigglyGirl’s lists are sometimes words and sometimes pictograms. The lists are so cute to me because I know they have picked this habit up from me. My children, my little lists makers!

Thanks for commenting, mm0g37. I think mastering the art of completing tasks is a never ending goal.
