What a nice idea -- dessert after church! I especially like how you plan ahead -- very smart.

We always do a Scandinavian dinner on Christmas Eve. My grandmother (whom I write about on my blog) was half Swedish and half Norwegian. I make Swedish meatballs, lefse, roomegröt, fruita soups, rice pudding and a few other items. After all that cooking for Christmas Eve, I usually find I have no energy left for Christmas dinner! Ah, but we usually go to relatives' houses that day, so it all works out :-)
