Thanksgiving Cornucopia for Preschoolers

November 14th, 2007 · No Comments

While the children are out of preschool for Thanksgiving and since the BusyBoy and GigglyGirl have never heard of a cornucopia before, I will teach them what one is. We will color a cornucopia coloring page or two. Then they will create a cornucopia craft that includes coloring, cutting, and pasting. Finally, we will make our own cornucopia for the Thanksgiving Dinner centerpiece using a basket with lots of fall fruits and vegetables flowing out of it.

I’d really love to make this salt dough cornucopia but I think it is more ambitious than we can do this year.  It would be fun to have in the years to come.
