GigglyGirl loves to hug and kiss me. Throughout the day, she walks up to me and says, “Huggies, huggies.” I stop whatever I am doing to give her a hug and kiss. Sometimes when she is playing, she just gives the I love you sign in sign language and waits for me to give it back to her. Oh, how I love her “huggies and kisses.” She sometimes says, “I love you all day and all night, Mommy.” It melts my heart.
Right now, GigglyGirl also says “woohoo” when she likes something. For instance: “I am going to get some water. Woohoo!” “We can go swimming today?! Woohoo.” “It’s time for dinner. Woohoo!” She must say it 40 or more times a day.
There seems to be a valuable lesson in those woohoos. She is appreciating the little things as well as the big things in her life. Refilling her water cup when she is thristy gives her satisfaction and enjoyment as does something bigger like having a picnic at the pool or a playdate with friends.
I love GigglyGirl, BouncyBusyBoy, and Mr. Right all day and all night. WOOHOO!!
